About This Chapter
October 2018 – APAPA-San Joaquin Chapter is pleased to announce the addition of two very talented board members, Everly Inong and Michael Tominaga.
– Everly Inong is a communications specialist with Public Health Advocates. She brings 15+ years of communications experience through multiple roles in corporate, government, and non-profit sectors. Everly grew up in Stockton, and she is an alumna of University of the Pacific.
– Michael Tominaga is an educator in Stockton Unified School District. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Studies and a Master of Arts in Education. Working directly with Stockton’s diverse population has allowed Michael to directly take part in civic engagement and coordinate resources for local outreach. Michael is a Stockton native.
Everly and Michael are both young, professional leaders that are passionate about engaging local APIs in civic and public affairs as well as raising the profile and perspectives of the API community. With their skills and background in public health communication and in education, respectively, I look forward to the profound impact they will have as part of our leadership team and for our broader community,” said Michael Nguyen, president of the San Joaquin County chapter.
