On Sunday, September 30th, the 17th Annual California Voters & Candidates Forum was held at California State University, Sacramento hosted by Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA), in partnership with 20+ local and statewide community organizations.

Candidates running for Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Controller, State Treasurer and the US House California District 7 showed up and spoke to our community about topics and issues occurring today. We were welcomed with a speech from Sacramento Mayor, Darrell Steinberg and honored to have Senator Dr. Richard Pan as the Keynote Speaker. Assemblymember Phil Ting was awarded Legislator of the Year, and by the end of the forum, the crowd was surprised with a phenomenal, uplifting performance by Jon Harris and The Voices Choir.
