aPAPA PROGRAMS

Through internships and youth programs, we empower the next generation of community leaders. Hundreds of APAPA interns work at local, state, and federal legislatures each year. They also gain leadership skills through professional development workshops.

We advocate for all our communities to promote inclusion and empowerment. Through our coalition partnerships with 100+ diverse organizations, we ensure our collective American voices are heard on important issues such as voting rights, public safety, resources, and education.

Our APAPA leaders organize and host hundreds of candidate forums and educational initiatives across the country with community leaders and public officials. We ensure all Americans can fully participate in our community.

Our APAPA Government Appointments Committee works closely with the California governor’s appointments team to advance well-qualified candidates for gubernatorial appointments.

APAPA in The Community

Join our community coalition with 100+ inclusive co-hosting organizations to ensure our voices are heard and our stories are shared. We connect with nearly all California legislative offices, and meet with key members of leadership including the Pro Tem, Speaker, Appropriations Committee, Budget Committee, and Caucus Chairs. Our coalition also presents a policy paper outlining our legislative priorities for our communities.
