APAPA Tri-Valley Chapter’s Summer Internship Program
The internship program typically runs from June - August each year, with applications available in February. Students wanting to be involved can start by volunteering at our Tri-Valley events.
This Internship Program will develop:
• Political awareness and civic engagement
• Understanding of government and legislative processes
• Professional and leadership qualities
• Presentation and communication skills
• Networking skills with fellow interns and mentors

AAPI Conversations with the Chiefs
AAPI Conversations with the Chiefs are a series of meetings with Police Chiefs in the Tri-Valley region. The purpose of these meetings is to foster open and honest conversations between the Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) community and law enforcement, and to address any concerns or issues that may arise. This is a collaborative effort between local community leaders and law enforcement, with the goal of promoting mutual understanding and building stronger relationships.
